Facebook’s Power is in "Sharing!"

How powerful and influential is Facebook? Powerful! A study by it put together with Starcom MediaVest Group and Rubinson Partners and reported by TechCrunch has some interesting revelations.

That “share” button on Facebook is the key. Facebook makes up 56% of all shared content (up from 45 percent in August, 2010), followed by email at 15% and Twitter at 8%. Facebook is especially strong when it comes to sharing entertainment and even shopping links.
