One of the themes from the conference is to clearly ask yourself why you are getting into social media. Make sure you understand it is to listen to your customers so you can provide beet service and/or products. It is not just to push information at them. Engage in conversations, listen to them, know where they are in the social media space, and then act when you hear good feedback.
