Okay, this is personal but something you should see if you live anywhere in the Western states.
A spectacular new exhibit is coming to Pacific Science Center this fall. It’s the West Coast Premiere of Lucy’s Legacy: The Hidden Treasures of Ethiopia and includes the original fossilized remains of the 3.2 million-year-old hominid known as Lucy, the oldest adult human ancestor fully retrieved from African soil. Other important discoveries will also be represented to complete the current account of human evolution as known to scientists today. This exhibit has religious artifacts, historical and cultural artifacts, scientific interactives and of course—an incredible and dramatic section where you will meet Lucy.
