Here’s another example of traditional media understanding the power of social media. CBS news is teaming up with Digg, the social news site which allows its members to vote on and determine which stories and headlines get prominent treatment. They’ll work together during the 2008 presidential campaign. Starting January 8th CBSNews.com began featuring links to election news stories on the Internet that have been rated highly by Digg’s community.
