People DO Watch Commercials!

If you think people are turned off by watching commercials—-think again. When you’re watching TV commercials are “forced” on you but when you’re on the web it’s entirely different. You “opt-in” to watch commercials—-and there’s a growing audience out there doing just that. According to the NY Times, veryfunnyads.com, a broadband Web site operated by the TBS cable network, has delivered more than 63 million video clip views. One reason for the increase in popularity for sites like these is the proliferation of broadband Internet connections, which make it easier for computer users to watch or download video clips.
